  MORPHOLOGY I. Morphology:  Morphology is the study of internal construction of words in which the words are analyzed into word elements. II. Morphemes:  Word elements which are separated from a word are called morphemes . These elements act as minimal units of meaning or grammatical function include forms used to indicate tenses or plural. *Free and Bound Morphemes: Free morphemes can stand alone by themself as a word such as words new and tour . Bound morphemes can't stand alone and must be accompanied by another form. For example, re-, -ist, -ed, -s, ... *Lexical and Functional Morphemes: Morphemes that carry the meaning or content of the message that we are conveying are called Lexical morphemes . Neologisms:                     Neologism is a ideology is used to refer to new type of words, terms or phrases that have been archieved recognition in public and is gradually considered to be accepted in official dictionary. It presents how fast human can adapt to a new word both in term of form and meaning of that word. In additionally, show the similarity in the word formation process in a language. II. Etymology:   Etymology is the study of origin and evolution of word's meaning across time. It is a subfield of linguistics, philology and semiotics.   THE SOUNDS PATTERNS OF LANGUAGE I. Phonology:  Phonology is the study of system and patterns of speech sounds in a language. It more focus on the abstract or mental aspect of the sounds of a language than considerate the actual physical articulation of speech sounds. II. Phonemes:  Phonemes are the minimal units of the phonetic system  used to structure and distinguish the sound shells of meaningful units of the language. Another property of phoneme is that it function contrastively. For example, the words fat and vat have the phoneme /f/ and /v/.  These are the only basis of the contrast in meaning between the two words above. This proof that if a words has any change in meaning when a sound is changed, it means the changed sound is a distinct phoneme.  III.                         THE SOUND OF LANGUAGE I. Phonetics:  Phonetics is the study of speech sounds. We will study to know how speech sound are made or articulated (articulatory phonetics) , physical properties of speech when travel in air as a sound waves (acoustic phonetics) , and understanding through ears or speech sounds (perceptual phonetics) . II. Consonants:   Consonants is characterized with a closure or narrowing of vocal tract that block completely or partial of the flow of air. When study consonant, we focus on three features: the voiced/ voiceless distinction, the place and the manner of articulation. III. Voiced and Voiceless Sounds:  1. The Devine Source:                                                          Before science involes in finding the original language, many biblical tradition and religion had pointed out that it Adam who created by God named every objects and creatures he saw.
